Belief In Qadr Is The Missing Link In Your Faith
The beauty of believing in Qadr is that you give all the credit to Allah, depriving evil from ruling your life and putting you in fear of whatever calamity they can cause….that fear is the chain of control they have and when you give everything to Allah, you break that chain. Alhamdulillah alaa kulli haal always
NB: Qadr is not sitting there waiting for things to happen as Allah has planned. It is about planning and implementing but accepting and trusting that whatever happens afterwards i.e whether it goes according to your plans or not, is the will of Allah.
Qadr is the only Answer to all our ‘whys” and ‘hows’. It humbles us, making us realize despite the control we think we have, the overall control is not with us.
It allows us make provision for unforseen circumstances.
Qadr brings us more to the reality that we can not grieve without being grateful to Allah for the grief and we can not be happy without giving credit to Allah either because they both come from Allah and serve purposes beyond our imagination.
If you find your faith in Qadr, you will never ask why on the face of a calamity, you will only say Alhamdulillah.
On the authority of Suhaib (may Allaah be pleased with him) he said: The Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam said: “Amazing is the affair of the believer, verily all of his affair is good and this is not for no one except the believer. If something of good/happiness befalls him he is grateful and that is good for him. If something of harm befalls him he is patient and that is good for him” (Saheeh Muslim #2999)
“And if you would count the favours of Allâh, never could you be able to count them. Truly! Allâh is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” (surah an-Nahl: 18)
May Allah guide us always and make our imaan firm by accepting and believing in Qadr without any ‘buts’, ‘whys’ and ‘hows’.
